As far as natural resources go, there are some systems that export better than others. Tatooine has been single-handedly supplying the galaxy's sand boxes for quite some time. Endor's moon has no end of redwoods for #2 pencils. And then there's Hoth.
They finally wised up and realized that even though you
might not want to munch on something cold while you’re there, there are other
systems dying of thirst. Now it they
could work out some exclusivity deal with Tatooine and figure out logistics,
they would be set.
